Podcast

For a long time I have had plans to create a podcast that could both provide important knowledge, but could also be a place to tell our stories. Now the ideas have finally taken shape and you can now listen to the Freeze or Fawn podcast.

In the podcast, I examine dynamics in relationships and the psychology behind dysfunctional relationships and violence in intimate relationships.

The podcast has three episodes. In the three sections you get knowledge, interviews and stories.

Would you like to tell your story in the podcast? Or would you like me to tell your story? Or perhaps you have a question you would like me to look into? In the podcast, I examine dynamics in relationships and the psychology behind dysfunctional relationships and violence in intimate relationships.

Freeze or Fawn podcast

In this episode I give a quick overview of the different types of abuse and violence in a romantic relationship context.

In this second episode of Freeze or Fawn I look at sexual violence. I try to clarify the more hidden experiences of sexual abuse as well as what happens to us psychologically when it exists in the romantic relationship.

In this third episode I give you an introduction to Attachment Science - the science of relationships! We look at attachment styles, how these develop in childhood and how they affect our adult relationships.

In the fourth episode of the podcast I dive into people pleasing! I look at the what and why. To be followed up with a part II where we talk about how to change the pattern.

In addition to my own podcast, I have participated in one.

Quite a while ago I was invited to participate in an episode of "It's Complicated's podcast: Therapy Talk" to talk about online therapy, being a psychologist and working exclusively online - and everything else.

It developed into an exciting conversation about online therapy's many potentials, what sometimes holds us back, but the conversation also took a turn towards some more gloomy topics. Here we touched on online radicalization, which I have written a thesis and reports on and subsequently also gave a presentation on, and Johanne, who interviewed me, was curious to hear more about what I actually found out.

Finally, give it a listen and don't hesitate to contact me if you want to hear more!
